I've used it a long time, and it's fine. But suddenly the listening sections are getting absolutely impossible to complete.

Duolingo went from one of the coolest websites around to shittiest f2p , they crippled the app so much that is beyond me: heart introduction removed the grammar the characters, completely unnecessary switched the tree with the.

This is really dark for an app thats supposed to be educational. i had similar issue when my dad passed last year and facebook kept suggesting i tag him in posts or send him messages for his birthday.

This app used to be more fun. Now there are too many ads especially for upgrading service to Super and Max.

Duolingo has been going down the drain these past few years. They care more about getting people hooked to the app than meaningful learning.

Both my wife and I and have deleted our Duolingo apps. The app has just gotten horrible, and the last straw for us was the Friend Quests not working properly now.

Quick update since a lot of you asked what I'm going to do. I started trying to actually speak out loud every day like u/Elesia and basically everyone here said.
