The fix → Ship the requested option behind a setting and let it persist between sessions.

This app has become borderline unusable over the last week. Constant freezing in videos, constant freezing between videos, insane lag on everything, and I am now always getting "this app isn't responding, close or wait".
The app is completely unusable. I can’t click on anything without getting an error message.
Here are my RECENT big issues: 1. They've added an update that allows you to remix other people's posts using AI.
I am extremely disappointed with TikTok support. I have been contacting support for over 2 weeks about my Video Gifts issue, but there is still no solution.
No freedom of speech and they block/ban your videos for no reason at all. They once banned me from commenting for using the puke emoji.
